About
Antonio Bova worked at the Centre of Studies and Researches of Psychology of Communication directed by Professor Carlo Galimberti at the Catholic University of Milan, where he still is Cultore della Materia in Social Psychology, and since November 2008, he works at the Institute of Argumentation, Linguistics and Semiotics (IALS), directed by Professor Eddo Rigotti and Professor Andrea Rocci. Antonio Bova is currently Visiting Fellow Researcher at the University of Amsterdam.
His major research interests are twofold: (1) educational and social psychology (with a particular focus on the family context), and (2) pragmatics (in particular argumentation theory, and conversation analysis). Regarding clinical activity, his focus is on the care of the Anxiety Disorders and Mood Disorders, and his research activity is devoted to the study of the therapist-patient relationship and the assessment of the effectiveness of the psychotherapy process.
Antonio Bova is a Psychotherapist and a member of the National Psychology List.
